Hi, I’m Kritika.

I’m a fitness trainer, health coach, and the founder of Osmosis Studio in Bangalore. My path to wellness has been anything but linear—spanning over a decade, three countries, and a complete reimagining of what health really means.

My journey didn’t begin in a gym. I grew up in Lucknow and moved to Dubai in 2005. In Dubai, I was living what many would call “the dream”: a successful real estate career, a shiny car, and a buzzing social life. But beneath the surface, I felt restless and disconnected. I was chasing external goals and body ideals that never brought true fulfillment.

In 2013, I began my fitness journey, diving deep into bodybuilding. Like many women, I got caught in the aesthetics trap—tracking macros, chasing leanness, and looking fit.  Competitive bodybuilding gave me structure, but it also reinforced unhealthy patterns I didn’t realize I was carrying— disordered eating, compulsive exercise, and a constant drive to do more.  I looked strong, but I was burnt out. My nervous system was frayed, though I didn’t have the language for it yet.

In 2017, I walked away from my life in Dubai. I moved to Phuket, Thailand, to work at a health and wellness retreat. That’s where everything shifted. I was tired of scratch the surface wellness advice and craved something deeper - work that explored the more meaningful aspects of health and wellbeing. I witnessed hundreds of people on their wellness journeys — the many ways they had struggled to find their own paths. I learned that true wellbeing isn’t about control—it’s about connection, wholeness, and rest.

Returning to India, I founded Osmosis Studio in 2022—a space where women can move, rest, sweat, and heal without pressure or perfectionism. No body goals, no before-and-after photos. There’s no pressure to shrink or conform, no need to “earn” your food. Just the slow, powerful work of building capacity for strength, resilience, and life.

In the past year, I’ve trained as a nervous system educator, and will soon be starting my 3 year journey of training as a Somatic Experiencing® practitioner. My work now is rooted in nervous system support, trauma-informed coaching, and compassionate strength training. It’s about helping women rebuild trust with their bodies—gently, sustainably, and without shame.

Osmosis was born from my own unlearning—from every version of me that thought she had to be smaller, quieter, or more disciplined.

It’s a space for women tired of diet culture and hustle narratives. A place to come home to your body. To move with joy.

And to redefine what it means to feel well.
